Unlike locked carrier ONUs, our device fully unlocks custom PON authentication settings, allowing you to freely modify SN, LOID, GPON/EPON registration parameters, PPPoE dial information, VLAN ID and OMCI configurations to match any ISP network worldwide.

All Editable PON Authentication Parameters

  1. GPON Registration: SN Serial Number, Password, OMCI Vendor ID, Equipment ID

Connect PC to the blue LAN port of VSOL V2801Q/V2802RH
Set computer IP to auto-obtain or static IP 192.168.1.x (It cannot be 1)
Open browser, input default gateway: 192.168.1.1
Enter default admin account:
Super username: admin
Super password: stdONUi0i

Step 2 Modify GPON Authentication (For GPON Network)

Enter menu: PON → GPON Config

Edit SN: Input your ISP-provided device serial number

Fill GPON Password, Vendor ID, Equipment ID

Click Apply & Reboot device

Wait 30s for OLT automatic registration

Step 3 Modify EPON LOID Authentication (For EPON Network)

Switch PON mode to EPON on homepage

Go to PON → EPON Register

Input official LOID string + LOID password from your ISP

Save settings, reboot ONU to complete EPON authentication

Step 4 Custom WAN PPPoE & VLAN Setup

Menu: Network → WAN Connection

Delete default carrier pre-configured WAN rule

Create new WAN connection:

A1: Yes, this VSOL V2801Q/V2802RH hardware has no firmware lock. All PON authentication codes are editable via web UI, no special tool or firmware flashing required.

Q2: Will modifying authentication parameters damage the device?

A2: Parameter editing is software-level operation only, no risk of hardware damage. If configuration fails, restore factory default with reset button to recover.

Q3: Is it compatible with Huawei / ZTE / Fiberhome OLT?

A3: Fully compatible. After matching correct SN/LOID and VLAN settings, it can register normally with all mainstream brand XPON OLTs.

Q4: Do I need professional tools to edit registration info?
